The type of personal information we collect:
We currently collect and process the following information:
· Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, name and contact details)
· Child name /Gender/ Date of Birth/ Medical Information relevant to participation in classes/ Award level
· Parent/Guardian name/ address / email/ phone number/Consent for photography
· Additional Emergency contact name and phone number
How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is collected from you by Classforkids on our behalf for one of the following reasons:
· To register a child for classes, camps or waiting lists
We use the information that you have given us in order to:
· Ensure your child is in the most appropriate class or camp
· Ensure your child is safe to participate and has the relevant support if required
· Contact you from a waiting list when a space is available
· Provide you with relevant information about your child’s class or camp
· Inform you about relevant events
· Ensure we can contact you in an emergency
· Understand if we are permitted to take photos or video footage of your child and share for marketing purposes.
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:
(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting: hello@firstgymnastics.uk
(b) We have a legitimate interest.
Payment Information
Payments and subscriptions are processed using Stripe by ClassforKids on our behalf. First Gymnastics does not process or store any card details.
First Gymnastics has a contract in place with Classforkids that requires them to keep your information secure. ClassforKids have their own privacy policy which is available on their website: https://clubs.classforkids.co.uk/privacy-cookie-policy/
How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored online via the ClassforKids system hosted with AWS who have ISO/IEC 27001:2013 security certification.
We will not keep your data for any longer than is necessary in light of the reason for which it was first collected. Your personal data will therefore not be kept for no longer than 5 years.
Your data protection rights
Under data protection law, you have rights including:
Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
